Archivo 28A: first-person experiences and resistances

The 28A Oral Archive is a research-creation project that was born in the midst of the 2021 National Strike in Colombia as a citizen initiative that seeks to generate a response to the rhetoric of vandalism that both the Government and some media have been building around the massive social mobilizations that began last April 28, in an attempt to delegitimize social protest.

The premise of this project is to generate the collective construction of a counter-narrative aimed at dismantling the discourse that criminalizes social mobilization through the socialization of intimate and personal experiences/accounts of those who have taken part in the collective and legitimate act of civil disobedience represented by the National Strike, appealing to the subjectivity of the participants as a tool to make known and understand the needs and feelings of the other(s).
